Terms and Conditions


Children younger than 5 will not be allowed to go on game drives and children younger than 16 will not be allowed to go on bush walks.

Checking Times:

 Check in and check out at lodges will only be allowed during daylight hours. 2-6 People per tour.


We will do our best to honour prices quoted to you but due to unforeseen circumstances like fuel costs, currency fluctuations, third party price adjustments and government actions prices are subject to change without prior notice.



Meals where quoted as included. A light lunch will be included daily. This will usually not be back at camp since we may be busy with other attractions during lunch time and may be far away from camp.

Gate entrance fees.

Full-time service of qualified and registered tour guide.

Pick up and drop off at O.R Tambo airport the day that the tour commences and ends as specified in the itinerary of the tour. The guests will be returned to the airport where they were picked up from after the tour ends unless otherwise arranged in advance.



International and domestic flights.

Client insurance – Comprehensive insurance and travel insurance is a condition of travel. This responsibility lies entirely with your travel agent who must ensure that you have comprehensive travel and medical insurance. This insurance should cover but is not limited to:

  • Emergency evacuation.
  • Medical expenses.
  • Accidental death.
  • Repatriation expenses.
  • Damage, theft or loss of personal baggage, goods, money and other personal effects.
  • Cancellation of travel arrangements.

Curio shops, beverage facilities or extra meals.

Accommodation before and after the safari.

Telephone calls.

Air charters.

Gratuities, scheduled airfare, porterage and laundry service unless otherwise specified. Visa fees are not included and are the responsibility of the traveller to apply for and obtain. 


Due to long travel distances, and depending on the time of arrival, tours may only start the next day, so please ensure to arrive in South Africa the day before the tour is scheduled to start. Tours may be extended on request and prior notice. Should a guest require a tour to be extended, Bhulela Africa Safaris should be notified at least 6 weeks in advance of start of tour date.

A deposit of 50% of the total amount is payable upon booking a tour. This will secure the booking. No booking will be registered until the deposit is received. The full amount is payable 14 days before arrival.

Bhulela Africa Safaris is a registered company and all tours and activities will be guided by a qualified, certified and registered guide. Bhulela Africa Safaris undertake to adhere to the code of ethics as required by the National Department of Tourism (NDT) and will conduct all tours according to the code of conduct as required by the NDT.

Bhulela Africa and its management or staff will not be liable in any way for any loss of personal items through theft, fire, negligence by the client or any third party or any other circumstances.

Travellers are advised that, even in the most serene settings, the animals are wild and can pose a threat to life and safety. Travellers are cautioned to observe all local or park regulations and heed all instructions given by tour guides. Trip participant, in rendering payment has accepted this General Release, Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement and shall be deemed to have executed it for Trip participant, Trip participant’s heirs, executors, administrators, successors, assigns, and next of kin. 

Bhulela Africa Safaris an its management and staff undertake to ensure to safety and well being of all its clients, but will not be liable in any way for any injury or loss of life due to negligent behaviour by the client or any third party.

The client intends to adhere to South African laws, regulations and customs.

No employee of Bhulela Africa Safaris shall solicit for clients or gratuities.

It is understood that Bhulela Africa Safaris is independent of and has no business association, as partner, joint venture, owner or otherwise, with any resort, hotel, carrier, boat operator, or other person or firm furnishing any service or facility in connection with the subject travel program. 
Cancellation policy:

Deposits will be returned in case of cancellation 8 weeks or more before the tour is scheduled to start. Six weeks before scheduled start, 50% of the deposit is refundable in case of cancellation and deposits will be forfeited in case of cancellation less than six weeks before the tour is scheduled to start. This is due to loss of deposit from third party service providers.
